Broken Bay Catholic School Parents
Supporting parents in their child鈥檚 learning and well-being. Broken Bay Catholic School Parents (CSP) develops and encourages parent engagement by supporting the participation of Broken Bay Diocesan families in partnerships with their school and parish communities.
As the official parent body recognised by the Bishop and 偷拍直播 Broken Bay (CSBB), the CSP supports the recognition of the church that parents are 鈥渢he first and decisive educators鈥� of their children. Working in collaboration with school leaders the CSP actively encourages parents to become engaged in their children鈥檚 education.
Representing all parents of children attending 偷拍直播 in the Broken Bay Diocese, the CSP听supports families by providing information and seminars to assist them to become involved and engaged in their child鈥檚 education.听听offers a range of resources including information on CSP听seminars, links to useful websites and online parent education learning modules. The website keeps parents informed on educational issues, research, activities, and events in the Broken Bay Diocese.
Through the provision of a diverse range of seminars held at our schools, parents are provided with up to date information on parenting issues such as anxiety, resilience, literacy, numeracy and children鈥檚 social and emotional development. Information about seminars can be found on the CSP听website, in your school鈥檚 newsletter, and on your school website.
The CSP听supports Parents & Friends Associations in their leadership roles as vehicles for meaningful parent engagement. Each P&F team in the Diocese has a parent representative on the CSP听encouraging consultation and dialogue with a broad range of parents. Parents are encouraged to be involved in their school communities by attending and participating in activities and events organised by their school鈥檚 P&F team.
The CSP听hosts an annual leadership evening, providing learning and engagement for parents included in leadership roles. 听These evenings invite parent bodies to understand the latest research on parental engagement and develop innovative ideas and practices in their school communities.
